We have worked since 2002 to learn about the places we feature.  If we don’t knoFish Mercado in Progreso, Yucatanw them personally, we have someone who does!  We feature readers’ stories of their experiences of living in a new country, finding places to live, study, play.  For almost a year prior to moving to Mexico, we researched, read, bought books, and spent countless hours to find much of the information we have relegated to these pages.  The most important aspect of this, however, is the personal time we have spent living here in Mexico, and having that first-hand experience to share with you.  There are many places to find information about moving to Mexico.  We have tried to centralize them into a place that has lots of useful day-to-day information you may need.

Kukulcan at Chichen Itza YucatanWho Are We?  We are Fred and Jan Morgan.  We lived in Pueblo, Colorado for 8 years before moving to Mexico, and before that, lived in Chicago.  Fred is a retired Fire Chief from the Chicago Fire Department, and I have been in a host of professions, from proofreader to purchasing agent.  We share 5 children between us, all grown, with 4 grandchildren to boot.

We are learning and enjoying the country and sharing the information with our hundreds of readers.  We will answer questions you may have, and research the ones that stump us.  Thanks for visiting, and we hope you’ll support us with your subscription, your stories, comments and questions.
