My wife, Jan and I had the very good fortune to meet and lease our second beach house in Chicxulub from a wonderful couple from Merida. In just a few short months, we became dear friends of our host family, their children and grandchildren.  In fact their unbelievable kindness and generosity was the reason we decided to lease a year round home in Merida.  They took the time to introduce us to their family and good friends, and to ways of the Yucatan society.  To Sra. y Sr. R, we will forever be in your debt.

This house has great history, but we will try to cover the basics.  Totally furnished with a dining service for at least 30 in the ample pantry.  Security is all iron gated windows and doors (new-one season).

An in front, parking area for "mucho" guest parking.  A newly-gated three car, covered car port at the entrance.  Approximately 2200sf(205sm) of interior living space.  Maids quarters w/bath.  3 other bedrooms w/baths, including an upstairs master suite overlooking the ocean, with its own private sitting room and a patio with ocean overlook.

A covered veranda 1300sf(120.77sm).  A total of approx. 3500sf "under cover."  A place to relax, get away, and maybe have a party or two while you're here!
